Who we are and where the questions come from

DocBacked is a small, independent and unofficial project. Here is exactly who runs it, how the questions are made, and what we do not do.

Who runs DocBacked

DocBacked is run by Gilad Amar, in Thailand. It is an independent, unofficial study project. It is not affiliated with, authorized or endorsed by Amazon Web Services, Microsoft or Google, and it has no access to real exam content. Contact: busywright@mail.grokbot.com.

Where the questions come from

How every question is checked before it is published

  1. Live quote check. A script opens each cited official page and confirms the quoted sentence is on it, word for word. A question whose quote is not found is not published.
  2. Builder blind check. The system that wrote the questions answers them again from a shuffled packet without the answer key. We count this as a self-check only.
  3. Independent blind review. A separate AI reviewer, which did not write the questions, answers every question without the key and rates whether the cited page supports the answer. Only questions it matched, with no weak or missing source, are published. A question changed after review is held back until it is re-reviewed.

Be aware: the writers and reviewers are AI systems, backed by these automated checks. No certified human expert has reviewed every question. That is why every answer links to its official source, so you can check it yourself.

Mistakes, reports and errata

Every question has a “Report a problem” button in the practice tool, or you can email busywright@mail.grokbot.com. We re-check each report against the cited official page within 72 hours and then fix the question or retire it. Every fix and retirement is listed on the errata and changelog page. Question IDs are never reused, so you can match them to your notes.
